Panorama, Parapara and Perspective
When I first visited this corner location, the view of Nagoya was panoramic. At the same time, I thought it would be interesting to make the running wall of Komatsu Wall parapara (flip-flop) in the space as if it were a rolled-up picture-story show. By making the running wall a circular orbit, the entire space could be seen from the center. I thought that this would create depth and breadth to the space in perspective and allow us to see various ways of working.
Komatsu Wall’s moving partitions boast top-class technology in the industry. The running wall can be operated smoothly in response to diverse and changing space conditions. We succeeded in maximizing the product’s potential through this space.
