昨年に引き続き、今年も三番町共用会議所（旧山縣有明邸庭園跡・庁舎別館）の一般公開の場において、小堀がトークイベントをさせていただきます。

今回は、陣内秀信先生と共に「大江建築にみる近代と庭園」についてお話をいたします。

■三番町共用会議所について：

三番町共用会議所は、大正12年の関東大震災、昭和20年の空襲によって失われてしまった、第3代および第9代内閣総理大臣・山縣有明氏が明治18年に建築した邸宅跡にあった建物。当時が偲ばれる庭園跡と明治天皇の行幸（明治18年10月）を賜った記念碑（山縣有朋公建立）が今も残っています。

また、庁舎別館は、戦後日本を代表する建築家・大江 宏氏設計によるもの。令和4年度には、DOCOMOMO Japanの「モダン・ムーブメントの建築」に選定されました。

Continuing from last year, Kobori will give a talk event at the Sanbancho Conference Hall (the former site of the former Yamagata Ariake Residence Garden and Government Building Annex), which is open to the public this year.

Sanbancho Conference Hall is a national conference hall built at the site of the residence of Duke “Aritomo Yamagata,” who was a politician in the Meiji period.

This year, he will talk about “Modernity and Gardens in Oe Architecture” with Mr. Hidenobu Jinnai.

The event is free of charge and reservations are not required. Please feel free to visit the event.

－空間デザインコンセプト

「パノラマとパラパラとパースペクティブ」

角地に位置するこの場所に初めて訪れたとき、名古屋の景色がパノラマに広がっていた。同時に、小松ウオールのランニングウォールを、まるで紙芝居を捲るように、空間でパラパラと移動させたら面白いのではないかと思った。ランニングウォールを円形の軌道にすることで、中心からは空間全体を見通すことができるようにした。そうすると、パースペクティブに空間に奥行きと広がりが生まれ、さまざまな働き方が見えるのではないかと思った。

小松ウオールの移動間仕切は、業界のなかでもトップクラスの技術を誇る。常に変化し続ける空間の状況に応じて、スムーズに操作することができるランニングウォールの可能性を最大化した。

–Space Design Concept

Panorama, Parapara and Perspective.

When I first visited this corner location, the view of Nagoya was panoramic. At the same time, I thought it would be interesting to make the running wall of Komatsu Wall parapara (flip-flop) in the space as if it were a rolled-up picture-story show. By making the running wall a circular orbit, the entire space could be seen from the center. I thought that this would create depth and breadth to the space in perspective and allow us to see various ways of working.

Komatsu Wall’s moving partitions boast top-class technology in the industry. The running wall can be operated smoothly in response to diverse and changing space conditions. We succeeded to maximize the product’s potential through this space.
